Aims of the Institute

The aim of Dublin Swahili Institute is not only to teach Swahili to as many people as it can here, but also to promote the Swahili language as a world language and to be taught as a Foreign Language like other Languages such as French, English or Spanish. By this, the institute strives to persuade educators and ministries of education to adopt Swahili in the curriculum as a world or foreign language.
